Lino Prints

“Working by hand allows each piece to carry the texture,
imperfection and care that make it unique”

In a world where speed and efficiency have creeped into every part of our lives, my dad asked me why are pursuing something that was practiced back in time?

My journey into lino printing started as a way to reduce the screen time in my day. On realizing that I has deeply disconnected with my body with an intense indulgance to doom scrolling, I soon realize that I had to keep my hands busy to stay present. The tactile feeling of carving the lino sheet helped reduce a lot of stress my body had been holding on to.  And seeing the final print made the whole proccess really satisfying. Over time, my interest has spread on to other forms of print making and am in the process of learning.
